There’s nothing sexier for a girl (or guy) to see than a guy in underwear. And it doesn’t really matter how fit you are – if you choose the right underwear for yourself, you can make yourself one of the most wanted guys in your environment. Since we’re on this subject, not all guys know how to boost their sex appeal with underwear. What is important? How to choose the right underwear? Where to get the best and highest quality underwear? Take a look as we will try to show you that it doesn’t matter what you’re packin’; it’s where you pack it.
First and foremost, choose the right size for yourself. The size of your underwear doesn’t depend on your package size but rather on your waist. Plenty of “gifted” guys tend to buy XL or XXL underwear, without realizing that this size refers to the waist size, not the penis size. You can easily check the size online or contact the manufacturer but there is a universal size chart. Another thing to have in mind is that you should avoid very tight underwear, especially if you’re trying to have a baby. Tight underwear can, in certain instances, lower your sperm count. However, make sure to ditch baggy boxers as they are not very fashionable at the moment.
Baggy boxers are so last season, all of us can agree on that. If you like to wear something much more liberating yet memorable, and if you’re not scared of trying something new, one of the best options is a Marcuse jockstrap. It’s fun, it’s sexy, it’s comfortable – who doesn’t like having their bum naked all the time? In this case, find the one you like, the color that matches your skin tone, and most importantly, do not make a mistake with the size as a large jockstrap can ruin the fantasy.
In order to find the best underwear, you have to think outside of the box. Put yourself in the shoes of the person you want to get in bed with, or your partner. What do they like? If you’re up for some kinky stuff, you can always visit an adult shop and find the sexiest underwear available. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not only sex toys that you can find there but underwear that will make your figure very sexy as well, so give it a go.
Minimalism might be the new black but sometimes all color and no pattern can make you a dull boy. Playing with patterns rather than colors will give that fun that you might need. Apart from opting for humorous and sometimes ridiculous examples, you can go with regular, well-fitting underwear of your choice. If you’re a cheeky guy, this Code 22 underwear will suit you perfectly. On the other hand, if you’re a serious fella, this will only show some more of your personality.
And finally, never let the aesthetic of your underwear get in between you and underwear of the highest quality. Know which brands to pay attention to, and which ones are worth the money that you’re going to spend. This being said, make sure that all of your underwear is in great condition – no holes or stretches are allowed. By paying attention to the brand and the fabric, you will prolong the time until you’ll have to go buy new underwear once again. Moreover, if you want to go with organic and eco-friendly options, make sure to do thorough research and actually buy something that will last for a certain period of time.
Who would’ve thought that choosing the right underwear could be this complicated, you ask? Thinking of certain things before you actually purchase the underwear and thinking about what you like and what fits you well can make this task easier. Remember that your underwear is not just a garment that you’re wearing under your jeans. It shows a lot about you.
Bluebuck is a bold new brand of sustainable men’s underwear, tops and socks. Made from premium organic cotton, each product is robust yet refined, just like its wearer.
Founded by Pierre David, a Frenchman living and working in London, the label combines the best of French style, British cool and a global sense of adventure. Bluebuck’s mission is to craft superior ecofriendly collections with a rugged, masculine sensibility.
BLUE speaks of the sky, the sea and the natural world as well as being a colour closely connected to purity, while the image of the antlered BUCK is one of raw masculinity. Bluebuck is a brand for the man who combines the rugged and the natural; who has a keen sense of environmental responsibility aligned with a strong sense of self.
Eco-friendly underwear with a lower carbon footprint
A Bluebuck man takes climate change seriously. He believes he can take action to minimize his impact on the planet. Bluebuck believe this too. So at every step of design and manufacturing process they ask themselves: ‘How can we minimize our
carbon footprint?’ Bluebuck is committed to producing a truly green product.
Clean renewable energy
Bluebuck pride themselves in selecting factories that use clean energy. By harnessing wind, sun and hydro-power, Bluebuck create products with minimum impact on the environment. In fact, 75% of the electricity used in their Austrain factory and 50% in their Portuguese factory come from renewable energy sources.
To add to the mix, they are also proud that 100% of the electricity used in their London office comes from renewable sources, supplied by Ecotricity.
Made in Europe
Unlike many brands that are ‘Made in Europe’, which usually simply refers to where the product is assembled, all components are produced in Europe. The fabric is knitted, then cut and assembled in Portugal using organic cotton sourced from Turkey. Even the finer details are produced in Europe: waistbands are made in Austria and the labels are created in Italy.
Once assembled, all products are moved by road, which produces around 75% less CO2 than fuel-guzzling planes.
Last longer. Waste less.
By design Bluebuck products are made to last longer, meaning less waste. They are extremely hard-wearing, durable and reliable.
Bluebuck select the very best materials available in order to ensure quality and durability. Fabrics longevity is also woven into the very design of Bluebuck products. Don’t subscribe to collections that fall in and out of fashion over the seasons. Bluebuck design all pour products in classic styles that remain stylish and timeless
The Nautical range of briefs and trunks is available in navy, white, pink, grey or ice blue with contrasting stripes. With 95% super soft organic cotton and 5% elastane, they’re kind to the skin and flexible enough to take on the most challenging of outdoor activities.

A quick Google search will tell you that romantic underwear for men is all kinds of creepy and embarrassing. Buying a pair of pants that have hearts on them isn’t romantic and it’s definitely not sexy. Even worse, if you’re the “funny” guy, you may consider buying some sort of ridiculous thong that you’ll come out of the bathroom wearing, only to take off immediately in order to get your groove on, imminently. Don’t do it! If that’s your idea of romance, you really need to sit down and work your way through Matthew McConaughey‘s back catalogue (before he decided to take acting seriously).
Ideally, most women’s perfect man would take his underwear queues from any David Beckham underwear campaign, rather, than go for something a little more Rocky Horror. Don’t do it! YOU DO NOT LOOK LIKE DAVID BECKHAM, and that’s cool. If you do, you’ll be part of the joke, because a fun game to play on Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and birthdays, is watching how many people are adjusting their bits and bobs in their special bras and pants, that they’ve donned to impress – forgetting that they really need to think of what suits them as opposed to what looks raunchy.
The fact of the matter is lads; yellowing, overstretched and outdated tighty whities do not get anyone’s pulse racing. If amore is on the docket, set the mood with man-drawers—boxers, briefs, manties, we’re not picky—that befit the occasion and the planet.
With the above in mind, we’ve teamed up with Deadgoodundies.com to highlight some of the key trends in underwear in 2018. It’s the perfect time for making the perfect romantic gesture…
DOING IT FOR YOURSELF
Men will be buying their own underwear far more in 2018. Growing confidence, interest in fashion, appreciating quality, enjoying shopping online – all of these could explain a rise in the purchase of underpants for men by men.
Sales at Deadgoodundies.com have shot up in the last year and the proportion of male buyers is higher than ever. As DGU founder Adam Davies explains: Being online we have always had a predominantly male audience but the percentage of female shoppers has reduced to single figures. Men like the choice, freedom and privacy of shopping online, especially for something as personal as pants.
COMFORT ALL THE WAY
Men have always bought comfy kecks, right? Well, levels of personal comfort have rocketed with the use of soft but supportive fabrics, clever yarns such as Coolmax and combinations like cotton modal, but most of all through dedicated design, focused on the pouch. Brands like Comfyballs, which just debuted on DGU, make big promises on this score.
The thought of ball-boosting underwear has some men running for the hills, but now there are levels of this category is increasingly popular. Ergonomic designs can actually enhance or just make the most of what nature gave you, sometimes by; slightly differently in the same pair. The joys of ergonomics include aeration thanks to a bit of lift, a good shape under clothes, avoiding constant adjustments and, if you want to, great opportunities for showing off.
COLOUR COLOUR COLOUR
Brands say 2018 really will be the year of colour in men’s underwear, rivalling the male swimwear sector. Fancy colours, contrast waistbands, lively prints, you name it, they have it. Of course, white and black are always top sellers, but bright and subtle shades – everything from neon to pastel – are on the cards.
CAMO AND ANIMALS
Camouflage and animal prints never go out of style for gent’s undies. These days camo can be muted neutral tones rather than military khaki or blue. Watch out too for camo created from a uniform pattern of one image. Animal prints might be classic tiger or zebra, or a collage of pictures of the actual animal or its face. Remember the Chinese Year of the Dog starts in February. And make sure wild prints are grown up for the full effect, not strategically placed elephant’s trunks.
CLASSICS NEVER DATE
Classic underwear for men isn’t the boring stuff your Dad wore when he was young. A 2018 classic will have earned its keep as a consistent best seller bought over and over again by men who can’t give up that particular look, style, feel, colour… Think of safe brands like Jockey and Sloggi but also HOM, Doreanse and British Boxers.
WHY CHANGE YOUR UNDERWEAR?
Old underpants are not a comfort blanket.

It’s a shame we can’t all look like David Gandy, Tom Hardy or Christiano Rolando (unfortunately the list is endless) in our pants. But in reality we can all feel good in the underwear providing we have consideration of fit, material and quality – which are all more important than the brand name on the band.
So ditch your saggy, over-priced Calvin Klein’s (probably bought from TK Maxx) and start thinking about what’s right for you and your chap…
To help you on your way, we reached out to a handful of industry experts to compile these essential rules on style, fabric and maintenance.
Of all the seminal moments in a man’s life – graduations, weddings, the first curled fist of your child around your little finger – none means more than the first time he chooses his own underwear.
But what worked for prepubescent you isn’t your best choice now. Your body’s changed. Your needs have changed. Somewhere there’s a fit that’s more snug. More supportive. More flattering.
Men’s Briefs: This is the traditional Y front. It’s not for everyone but it offers great support and a neat fit. Particularly good for men with large thighs.
Men’s Trunks: These are a newer style and offer the simplest silhouette, ideal for wearing under slim-fit trousers. They sit perfectly on the hip, a little lower than other styles, and are short in the leg, cutting across mid-thigh, which make them best for men with slimmer legs.
Take care with ‘hipster’ styles, warn the experts at M&S; they sit low, so work best with tucked in shirts. Or you risk an intimate breeze every time you bend down.
Men’s Boxer Shorts: Traditional boxer shorts offer maximum coverage, comfort and breathability but can often bunch and ride up so do not work well with slim trousers. Our boxers offer a modern, tailored cut that is much more flattering and works well with slimmer legwear. This new approach means they complement any body shape, being both flattering and extremely comfortable.
Men’s Boxer Briefs: These are a hybrid between the traditional boxer short and the trunk – they sit on the waist and are slightly longer in the leg. Universally flattering and versatile, they’re the go-to option for most. Particularly good for those with fuller buttocks.
Three things matter in your most intimate wear: comfort, support and breathability. Pants brands have long defaulted to cotton and jersey, which provide all three. But textile innovation offers the modern man new ways to keep himself cool and dry. These new fabrics are often sustainable, breathable and even heat-sensitive.
Cotton: An old classic. This is a brilliant fibre for underwear. It’s naturally breathable, soft and hypoallergenic.
Jersey: It’s soft and lightweight with a natural stretch, making it the perfect choice for guys on the move. Opt for a stretch style, with higher elastic content for added support if you spend your weekends exercising as opposed to relaxing.
Silk: It’s a classic choice, but silk is quickly disappearing from the underwear market. And for good reason. Although it offers incredible lightness and breathability, it’s a delicate fabric that doesn’t benefit from wash and wear and damages easily.
Mesh: The go-to material for sports-oriented underwear, mesh is light and breathable. Some brands go more specific and use heat-sensitive mesh fabric that helps disperse body heat and leaves your pants feeling cool to the touch – even after a bout of cardio.
Online stores like Deadgoodundies.com (DGU) have several advantages for men seeking something new or different. Online retailers offer far more choice in terms of brands, cuts and colours than stores, and you can shop in total privacy (DGU ships completely plain parcels too).
DGU founder Adam Davies says: “We constantly update our stock, every week and sometimes daily in peak season, so there’s always something new to see. But we also stock many classics and repeatable favourites from the best international brands, plus swimwear for men, year round. Men’s underwear has developed enormously in recent years, using yarns like modal or bamboo and creating ergonomic designs that can boost or just cool your boys. The main criteria for anyone shopping for men’s undies are of course comfort and looks, but there are many more considerations before you find the perfect pair – price, shape, fabric, sizing, pouch capacity, waistband depth and brand visibility to name a few. Plus I am always available to answer questions for customers before they buy.”
Real men should look to specialists such as Deadgoodundies.com because they stock more than 20 brands, with more arriving this year, they ship to over 80 countries and stock everything from minimalist thongs via briefs, trunks and boxers to meggings, bodies and loungewear, swimmers, socks, tees and tops. Several of their collections, or the extent of the range DGU sells, are unique in the UK.
For a readers and friends overseas, another great online store, producing wholesome and very comfortable underwear is Tani USA. Tani’s singular mission is to set a new standard in underwear, aiming to create the worlds best and most comfortable undergarments. If you feel compelled to try a new style or need some extra support, we recommend you head over to their website straight away. (Tani Trunks pictured above).
Ignore the ads. Fashion brands tend to steer toward cuts and materials which flatter the likes of Justin Bieber, not you.
If you’ve ever tried to run in baggy boxers, we sympathise. Athletic underwear comes with special requirements – it has to keep you in place and be breathable enough to cope with sweaty gym sessions. Try a jock-strap or an purpose made athletic pant, it’ll do you a world of good! A good place to visit for jock straps that will be perfect to your sporting needs is Jock Up!
These days, underwear is about more than just pants. Here’s everything else you should slip between skin and clothes.
This isn’t necessary all the time, but an undershirt prevents sweat stains and means your actual shirts need washing less so last longer.
Go for a V-neck – few things kill your look like a crew neck behind an open collar – in breathable cotton. Look for tight fits in light grey – it’s less visible under a white shirt than white. Vests also create visible lines on your shoulders, so stick to tees.
White socks are streetwear’s current obsession, but if you’re not in a hoodie, stick to classic black or navy. Your socks should be long enough to show no skin when you cross your legs, unless you’re after mankles. In which case, Primark’s invisible socks let you flash yours without stinking out your shoes. Try visiting the London Sock Company for some pretty neat socks.
Instead of running between the shower, the bedroom and darting across the landing with your crown jewels on show for everyone (the postman doesn’t want to see that), consider a dressing gown. Bown of London have a variety of British made, quality and masculine dressing gowns.
You’re not Bridget Jones (you have a bit too much between your legs for that), so you’ve no excuse for grey, saggy pants.
Wash: Obviously never mix whites with greys, off-whites or colours as they will lose their sheen. Temperature is key too – a hotter wash does more damage to the fabric, so stick to 30 degrees and, if possible, use a gentle wash cycle. Silk, because of its delicacy, should always be hand-washed.
Dry: Drying your underwear flat means they keep their shape better. Due to their delicate nature, it’s best to avoid a dryer.
Storage: If you’re keen to go the extra mile you can fold your underwear in tissue paper to preserve the fabric and keep it neat and unwrinkled. Another tip is to store garments with lavender or cedar wood – the scent will deter moths.
So there you have it – we constantly reiterate that your underwear is so important chaps. Get what’s right for your shape AND size. For more ideas on style, cut, fit and support, shop here.
We recently carried out a survey of 100 men to find out which underwear is preferred by us blokes! We found that top spot goes to Boxer-Briefs, closely followed by briefs.
Boxer shorts and Jock straps bought up the rear, if you pardon the pun, offering varied support is clearly our issue!
So there you have it…our ultimate guide to men’s underwear!

You can have a body of Idris Elba and a charm of Orlando Bloom, but you’ll never get anywhere showing up sloppy at the gym. Even more so, it’s not about the appearance, only – you need to be comfy under all the layers of your activewear in order to feel good while working out. Any man can tell you: if your underwear isn’t comfortable, you aren’t comfortable! Underwear that rides up, forms awkward bumps or leaves you hanging down there is a big no-no! Agreed? Yes.
We’ve compiled a list of some of the best athletic gym wear choices and underwear on shelves, so you can get a head start on feeling amazing during your gym sessions and looking your best, afterwards.
No matter how chic your activewear is looking, unless it’s made of breathable fabrics, like cotton or technologically advanced blends, forget it. Not only will you be sweating heavily, but you’ll be running the risk of spreading an odor most of the gym members will probably want to puke from.
If you’re led by the idea of extra pounds shed by sweating in all the horrible synthetics, please stop now. Apart from the aforementioned stink, your sweating results will only be temporary and can be dangerous. Choose breathable fabrics that feel good on your skin. So, friend – say goodbye to tighty-whities and embrace streamlined UFM Underwear boxer-briefs that offer support, comfort and enough elasticity suited to men who lead active lives.
We’ve had the privilege to test run the adjustable crotch pouch range, which has proved to be an amazing pair of pants. The drawstring around the seam of your crotch can be tightened to lift your member (no matter what size you are) so there’s no chaffing during the sweatiness of a workout.
You know it, we know it – unless your package is fully supported, not only will you be dangling around playing bat game, but you’ll be so uncomfortable (and limited in doing most exercises) that you’ll want to scream!
These days, men are blessed to have a variety of brands to browse through until they find their perfect pair, but until you do, let us educate you on something – praxis has shown that briefs in mostly cotton with a blend of just enough polyester and Lycra to wick like a synthetic boxer-brief are the perfect options for all the boys who don’t want to skip their gym day. If you are a runner, we suggest going for a polyester-and-elastane blend that packs everything up just right. Make sure your choice is moisture-wicking, stink-resistant shorts with a barely-there feel and awesome support. Rumor has it Ryder Wear – workout apparel is killing it in this area.
While baggy clothes may visually hide a few extra pounds you are working on shedding, they’re doing you no good when it comes to working out. Quite the opposite, actually – they impede movement, leading to unsexy mishaps should they become stuck in a machine or trip you. To avoid such misery, select workout apparel that follows the lines of your body without being skin-tight; skin-tight is never sexy at the gym unless you’ve got the body of Adonis. Compressed leggings are a fine option as they’ll be comfy enough to let you move around but will still follow the line of the leg suitably. Choose the material that won’t leave you sweating or stinky and go for colors that inspire your determination to get a leaner physique.

We’ve covered a lot of underwear brands and all for different occasions. Take a look at some of our other articles here: Men’s Underwear.
Have you ever bought a cheap umbrella from a convenience store thinking that it was a good deal since it was affordable and the quality seemed nice only to be disappointed when it started raining? There you are standing in the rain, thinking that you are prepared, when all of a sudden an errant gust of wind blows on the umbrella and the hinges crack, it inverts and you are left with a useless bit of metal and fabric. Many of you have been through such a situation and have come out of it realising that just because something is affordable doesn’t make it good. Paying more for quality goods ensures that what you buy won’t unravel at the slightest gust of wind. It will last, it will be strong and you will most likely get a lot of use out of it until you need to replace it. The same principles apply when it comes to buying underwear as this article will show.
There is a world of difference between the type of bed that you would get at a cheap hotel and one that you would find in a 5-star hotel. The same principle applies when it comes to purchasing designer underwear over something that is available for bargain basement prices.
For instance, Bum-Chums pants are hand sewn using special cotton that is not only comfortable but actually allows the skin underneath the underwear to “breath” so to speak. This makes it more comfortable to wear and is incomparable to the type of boxers or briefs that you would buy in plastic packs. While you may be thinking that the amount of money invested into designer briefs is a bit too high considering the fact that they are just underwear, you need to consider the fact that, aside from pants, underwear is one of the most widely utilised clothing items you will wear throughout your life. Purchasing several expensive yet comfortable pairs will make a world of difference when it comes to going about your daily activities.
Bum-chums was created from an absolute and total desire to make underwear more sexy and better fitting for men. They wanted to make cheeky little fun numbers, to show off with design skills but still ensure they make them to the best quality they can.
Craig, at Bum-Chums, still makes the majority of the pants from a small factory at Brief-Towers, that’s always a hub of activity, crafting well-made garments, packing men’s underwear and showing the world that Britain is still on the map…
Take a moment from your hectic life and grab a cuppa in your nearest coffee shop or a beer or glass of wine at your favourite wine bar and park that neglected derriere on a comfy seat!
At Bum-Chums they design underwear to help our bums! We hardly give bums a second thought, we sit on them, fall on them, burn them, scratch them, scrape them, smack them, bite them (if you’re lucky) and wipe them, the list of abuses is endless. Yet that faithful “rear bundle” hardly ever complains and follows us about obediently wherever we go; always playing catch-up.
After all… it helps us stand up straight and walk, it takes the pain when we fall and it offers a satisfying outlet and (for some) inlet!
That’s why Bum-Chums choose comfort; to enhance, relieve, and indulge those long-suffering peachy, pert posteriors and give them the recognition they deserve. After all…. just like people, bums need chums!
We’ve been wearing a range of bum-chums range for some weeks now and we love them, they are comfy. We can tell that the pouch is made to cup and support. The materials vary and the stitch isn’t evasive. Each pair truly is made with out comfort in mind. The colours, materials and designs are endless, go take a look…
Aside from comfort, well made and constructed underwear tends to last a lot longer than most types of underwear out there. Due to the quality of the materials that go into their creation, this makes them far more durable which allows them to undergo a lot more wear and tear. This allows them to last for years before they have to be replaced as compared to cheap pairs of underwear that only last a few months before the material starts to break apart either while you’re wearing it or while it is being washed.
For example, one common reason why people have to get rid of their old underwear is due to the wear and tear that occurs in the waistband. The elastic in this part of the underwear is vulnerable to deterioration over time since the material tends to get weaker after being washed and stretched multiple times. Sheath underwear is not subject to the same problem since the waistband is replaced with sturdy cloth cords that can last for years.
SHEATH is an indie company run by a small group of friends and family that doesn’t have high corporate overhead which is why they are able to offer reasonable prices to customers. Their a strong team with the determination to do what ever it takes to develop a successful brand that offers a premium product at a reasonable price, while helping those less fortunate along the way.
The inception of Sheath Underwear, as with the beginning of any company, came in the form of an idea. The idea was of a pouch underwear that completely isolates the male package from inner thigh region, providing a cool dry free commando sort of feeling. The product is now available but Sheath always warn you and always caution you: “WARNING: THESE UNDERWEAR MAY INDUCE A COMFORT COMA FOLLOWED BY COMPLETE MENTAL CLARITY.”
Sheath is an underwear brand dedicated to the functionality and comfort of every pair of boxer briefs they produce. They’ve created a garment that works with you while you’re working hard.
Each style is hand crafted from a cotton/elastane blend that hugs your form and moves with your body throughout every wear. All sports are welcome in Sheath boxer briefs! The pouch supports and holds your boys right where you want them throughout any strenuous activity. The pouch will also keep your boys comfortable by sitting right where they should naturally and the lip curves under you for a better fit.Sheath makes sure their underwear can keep up with you. These styles are designed to reduce heat, avoid sticking, and to wick away unwanted sweat. The specially designed pouch also prevents the need for constant readjustment while you’re on the go.
The Sheath boxer brief has a classic boxer brief look with a great performance edge. They’re available in lotus white, excalibur blue, samurai red, ninja black, and katana grey. Sheath also offers each colour in singles, twin packs, and five packs in either one solid colour or multi-colour packs.
The Sheath boxer briefs are available in sizes S – XL and sizes XXL and XXXL are available in Black Singles only.
The packaging is a neat design that’s eye catching and simple. It has a touch of class. You can tell that these pants are made for endurance, when you need help in tough conditions or sport. The design of these boxers is simply, classy and masculine. You’d be proud to wear them around the locker room and feel fashionable.
What truly sets designer underwear apart from its ordinary counterparts is the level of detail and design that go into them. Designer underwear is meant to combine comfort and durability while at the same time looking unique yet aesthetically pleasing. People buy this sort of clothing since, despite the fact it won’t be seen, the design looks good and for them this is the most important characteristic when it comes to the items that they choose to wear. In fact, the design of some types of designer underwear is so good that they can be worn around a home as shorts.
If you’re after a unique design and something out of the box, if you’re feeling kinky, go check out SUKREW. We reviewed SUKREW a few months ago, and we’re still seriously impressed. A striking underwear, with many a variation to consider, from boxers, briefs, jockstraps and even more adventurous underwear for the risque viewers.
Bold colours, a bold style and a striking waistband with the SUKREW logo on, wearing these to the gym you’ll be the envy of most after while.

If you’re the sort of person that is loyal to particular luxury brands, then choosing Undamentals is a great way to further increase your brand loyalty. While it may be rather strange, various luxury brands do create their own luxury underwear lines that are oriented towards men. These tend to be designed under the same specifications of their other luxury goods and, as such, you can be assured that when you do buy luxury briefs under their brand they are crafted with the best possible designs and materials.
We reviewed Undamentals a few months ago (read here) but we have to mention them again, because 3 months down the line their briefs are out best friend! They are supportive but roomy and allow your chap to breath. Well worth considering.
The branding of Undamentals is striking and the ethos is outstanding.
If you’re a fan of Undamentals, they are currently running a competition on their website and on twitter…you can win a 1 year subscription of pants! That’s right, let the the guys take the hassle out of buying undies!
All in all, these underwear brands are a good choice for individuals that want to invest a bit more money into an article of clothing that they will likely use continuously for several years. While it may initially seem like a foolhardy investment, the fact remains that the durability, comfort and style that you can get out of them makes the investment more than worth it in the end. With numerous luxury brands creating their own iteration of men’s underwear, you will definitely not lack choices when it comes to the design and type of material you want.
We all (well most of us wear pants) and those of us that do, are looking for more sustainable ways to contribute to the planet or believe and belong to something good. That’s why the only underwear choice for me now is CAVALIER.
Let me tell you a little bit more…
Setting out to change the world can be daunting (and a little lofty), so CAVALIER started with the basics – underwear. It comes from a sector that is doing irreparable damage to the environment, and is often advertised in a way that makes us all feel bad about our differences and imperfections. It’s time to rethink underwear.
CAVALIER know that brands have the power to affect change in the world, and believe that it is their purpose to have a positive, lasting legacy on both people and planet.
To be more CAVALIER is to be confident, bold, and fearless in challenging the status quo. That means using the bodies and faces of real people in all of our advertising, and using representation to empower love and confidence.
To be more CAVALIER is to respect, learn from, and take responsibility for our planet. The sustainable fabrics we use are inspired by nature, and ensure our planets’ health and future. They also feel great, with form-fitting silk-like softness that inspires confidence and sensuality.
To be more CAVALIER is to treat people as we would wish to be treated ourselves. Cavalier’s supply chain is completely transparent, and are proud partners of MAS Intimates who craft our underwear. MAS operate to the highest ethical standards, so you can be certain of the fairness and equality that your purchase assures.
Why should I wear that? Why are you selling it? Who is making it? Who is profiting? Why don’t I see my body in your adverts? Can I trust what you say? Do you trust that I care?
From day one, CAVALIER set out to design garments for every body, to weigh form and function in equal measure, and to advertise inclusively and respectfully.
They asked friends, family and anyone that would listen what helps them to feel confident everyday, and for many this started with their basics. Their pants. Boxers. Knickers. Undies. We all want comfortable, great fitting foundations no matter your age, shape or gender. We also want to feel sexy, confident, and in tune with our bodies.
They found that the men’s market was particularly behind in these areas, with many brands still spiriting the same messaging and designs that they launched twenty to thirty years ago. Men come in all shapes and sizes too, and deserve the consideration.
Although far more evolved, the women’s market is chaotic, with countless brands over-promising and under-delivering. Cheap fabric and poor quality design flow in abundance, and you never know what will arrive in the post.
By holding to the principles of luxury fabric, high-quality tailoring, and innovative design, CAVALIER garments are designed for every body. Every body that wants comfort and confidence with their clothes on or off.
With my focus on gents body confidence, is the main reason I jumped at the chance to work with CAVALIER – because every man deserves to feel sexy. I know I did in these undes.
Who said sustainable couldn’t be sexy? It’s time to rethink underwear.

Pants & Socks believe that there are very few activities that cannot be made better by doing them in your pants. Homeworking (or hybrid working) is here to stay, so why not get comfortable and embrace the joys of Working from Pants (WFP)?
Zoom calls are the fly in our WFP ointment. It’s not just Zoom fatigue and our minds turning to mush. It’s the mouthbreathers, the face feeders, the never muters, the barking dogs and the sheer pointlessness of it all. “You’re on mute mate!”. If we must endure this nonsense for the foreseeable future let’s do it in style.
WFP isn’t without its dangers, however. So we’ve put together our 6 WFP Tips to stop you from getting your balls busted and landing in hot water with HR.
Boxer shorts are the home working gateway-pant. As you master the key
techniques for Working From Pants, we recommend starting with boxers – they can easily be mistaken for shorts. Start small (or long), be patient, master the techniques, and you’ll be chatting in your thong in no time.
Once you have selected your pants, it is vitally important to examine your Zoom Zones. Mirrors, pictures, glasses and any reflective surfaces should be removed from view. This is the number one reason for failure; just ask the Mayor of Antwerp.
Create an exit strategy. What happens, for example, if the postie arrives with your latest package from Pants & Socks? The best strategy is a phased technology breakdown. Learn your shortcuts – kill the video feed, mute your mic, exit the application. Or just go nuclear: crash that computer.
Humans have a tendency to talk with their hands so beware. Knock your laptop lip and the camera shift will irreversibly alter the perimeters of your Zoom Zone; knock something over and you could be up and mopping before you can say full frontal. To start off with, you might want to try sitting on your hands.
A stiff summer breeze can take you by surprise and yelps of discomfort, even the smallest squeal of surprise, could be your downfall. Socks are the first line of defence.
You’re getting the hang of working in pants, you’ve progressed to briefs and you’re feeling good. But confidence, or rather overconfidence, is not your friend. Learn from the lessons of the great pant wearers who went before you. Do not get cocky, don’t forget your basic training and NEVER mix Working From Pants with the consumption of alcohol.
